We also collect emergency contact details so your landlord can reach someone in case of emergency.
Landlord Information
If you are a landlord, we collect your company registration details, tax number, and bank account information. This is required to process payments and comply with tax regulations.
We also collect property details including addresses, room configurations, amenities, and photos. Property location coordinates are stored to show properties on maps.
Technical Data
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. These cookies are necessary for the application to work properly.
We also collect session information including your IP address and browser type. This helps us secure your account and troubleshoot issues.
Property locations (latitude and longitude) are stored to display properties on maps and calculate distances.
How We Protect Your Data
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Access to your personal information is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to provide our services.
Who Sees Your Data
- NSFAS - to verify your funding status and process payments
- Landlords - to process your booking and manage your accommodation
- Your institution - to verify your enrollment status
- Communication providers - to send you SMS and email notifications
Your Rights
Under POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act), you have the right to:

- Request correction of inaccurate data
